1. I accept initial contacts by telephone only at 905-850-5061.
2. Once we meet for a consultation, we will spend the 1-1 ½ hours (flat consultation rate $325 inclusive of HST) reviewing your marital history in detailed report form for future application of the information in court applications or Agreements. As such, this is a very practical use of time, both to get to know each other and to begin planning initial strategies and options.
3. You can expect me to be open and clear in my communication with you. I will address emotional issues in the context of the case so that a judge will see you as a fully rounded person as we hammer out financial and practical realities.
4. You can count on me to keep your feet to the fire of what can be realistically accomplished in a court room. I will guard your interests against the extremes of caving in too soon on the one hand, and wasting my time and your money arguing about petty or irrelevant issues. I will encourage fair and reasonable settlement if it is possible, but I will not allow you to be exploited.
5. I make the solemn commitment to you to move your case as quickly as possible while maintaining the integrity of careful representation. If a settlement is possible, I will find it.  If a settlement is not possible, I will move the case forward to court as soon as possible.
